National Walking Day! April 5th at 10:30 am Main Dining Room Meet Up
Take steps towards a longer and healthier life. Physical activity is one of the best ways to improve overall health and manage stress. However, one in four U.S. adults is sedentary for more than eight hours daily, negatively affecting physical and mental health. Residents, staff, and families join us for a stroll around our grounds to raise awareness of the benefits of movement. National Walking Day demonstrates the progress that can happen when people come together and take steps, big or small, to improve the health of their communities.
Earth Day Gardening April 22nd, 2:00 pm West Gazebo Area
Residents will join us for a fresh air activity as we honor Mother Earth with a little gardening. Gardening is a wonderful way to celebrate Earth Day by working in harmony with nature. Come help us beautify our West Gazebo area with succulents and seedlings. Light refreshments and popsicles will be served.
Hippie April Birthday Party! April 26th, 2:00 pm Main Dining Room
Life is a Vibe! Join us for a Groovy April birthday as we celebrate another trip around the sun. Residents, staff, and families join us for a psychedelic afternoon with live musical entertainment, cake, and ice cream. Don’t forget your tie-dyes and bellbottoms!
