January 7th at 2:00 pm – Harlem Globetrotters Day (Main Dining Room)

Residents, get ready for an action-packed day of laughter, music, and basketball fun! We’ll celebrate the legendary Harlem Globetrotters with themed games, trivia, photos, and plenty of smiles. No slam dunks required. Come ready to cheer, laugh, and shoot some hoops. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. 

January at 2:00 pm – Rubber Ducky Birthday Party (Main Dining Room)

Residents, staff, and families, let’s make the day a splish-splashingly special one! Residents join us for a Quack-tastic activity as we celebrate a day dedicated to the iconic rubber duck, a beloved toy that brings joy to bathtime and beyond. The date is recognized thanks to Sesame Street, where the character Ernie once declared it as his rubber duck’s birthday.  Cake and Ice cream will be provided.

January 19th at 2:00 pm – Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Main Dining Room)

Always finding a way to replenish our faith in the good of humankind. What better day to aim to rejuvenate hope than on a day dedicated to the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.? He was a visionary and activist who helped pioneer the civil rights movement.  Residents and staff, join us in honoring his life’s work and the idea that this nation can be better if we all come together and work towards making it a better place. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
